Just a few more items to acquire and i think ill be able to finally call my interior finished.... For now.

Kinja'd!!!

New boot has matching stitched style, but i still might look for a red stitched one off an ITR... All i really wanted was the circular chrome ring instead of my square one. Details guys! You gotta get this stuff correct down to every last inch.

Kinja'd!!!

I guess this makes good practice for when i get into the next level of cars. Yeah its a honda, but i reckon its the cleanest in my county.

This is gorgeous. Honda could really design a nice interior back then...

Is the leather wrap on the steering wheel new? Cause it looks brand new.

Prelude right? Are those s2000 seats?

Also, we have the same steering wheel! You have the better leather trim on it though, with the red stitching. If you replace your steering wheel with something else, I'd like this one, please, assuming you'd sell it.

is that a 5th gen Lude? Makes me miss mine! I didnt have that sexy leathery sexiness in there, really classy-fies it all. Nicely done.

Yep 5th gen prelude. Yep, s2000 seats. And its funny, i was gonna comment on your post about your car on how we have exactly the same steering wheel but you had tons of comments so i didnt bother haha.

If youre seriously interested in that style steering wheel, i could probably get you the email of the guy who does them. He is out of poland (iirc), and he has them re-wrapped to oem specs. Its like a perfect restoration. Sometimes he gets ones that dont need to be re-done and thats awesome too. But mines probably wont ever be for sale, i like it too much! haha.

yessir! I didnt have the leather either. But some blood and sweat took care of that. Totally worth it, since finding good oem prelude leather seats is nearly impossible. And thank you!

A man from poland is to thank for that. He has a service that rewraps them in brand new leather back to oem standards. You would never know the difference between the two expect for a slight difference in the leather, but thats mostly due to it never being used.

How much did it cost? I can get a Type R in really good condition for about $200, so with shipping and everything... I dunno if Poland is cost effective.

I had S2000 seats in my EK:

shift knob and s2000 seats with custom red stitching? :D

I want to find a seamstress to restitch my s2000 seats in red stitching. That would be the dream. Then it would be down to my shift booth and rear seats to complete the red stitch theme.

I paid 225 shipped, with an airbag. SO in your case it might be better to go type r. And his prices always vary because it depends on the price he got the wheel for. Id probably go with the type R. Also i think a type R wheel is smaller in diameter, so it will feel a little more like a gokart, which i would like. Have you looked into the JDM s2000 steering wheels? I think its the momo version.

Those s2k seats look just as mint as mine! Good choice.

But I have the wheel, of course. I would just take the airbag out, ship him my actual wheel, and use a cheapo base trim model steering wheel until it comes back. He wouldn't need to buy a new wheel. So the question is one of shipping for the wheel sans airbag, I think, plus the cost of the work of rewrapping.

Ahhh now i see what you want to do. I could send him a message for you and ask if he would be able to do that and for what cost if you would like.
